-Do I have to be under a certain age to run the course?
Absolutely not! This run is for people of all ages to be a hero for the day. In fact, there are already a lot of perfectly mature adults registered for the adventure.

Grab the cape out of your closet, dig that old watergun out of the garage – it’s time to save the world!

- What should I bring?
One of the most important things about being a super hero is having the right costume. It doesn’t matter whether your costume is simple or more elaborate – the important thing is that you have fun creating it and you feel like a hero wearing it.

Important Note: you will be permitted to bring your own water gun, but there are rules about what kind of water sprayers will be permitted (see B.Y.OW.G.). If you don’t want to deal with the hassle of choosing the right water gun, we will have some available for purchase onsite during the event.

-How long is the run?
This run will be between 3-4k. The difficulty of the course is designed for kids, but the fun aspect of dressing up in outrageous costumes and brandishing a watergun to complete a mission is something that appeals to people of all ages.

-Do I have to pay the registration price if I am just coming to supervise my kid(s)?
No, you do not need to pay the full registration price to be a spectator at the base camp. The fee for spectators is only $10. Note however that spectators will only have access to the finish line and the base camp where all the attractions are; spectators will NOT have access to the running course.

-Where is the event being held?

- Do I have to run?
No you certainly do not have to run, but if you are going to succeed in your mission, some running may be necessary. However, you are also welcome to walk the course and we encourage everyone to participate in whatever way they like.

- Do I have to have fun?
YES!!

- What time should I arrive, and what wave am I signed up for?
When you sign up for the run, you are required to select which wave start time (start times available between 7am and 11am) you would prefer to participate in. If you have forgotten which wave you registered for, just contact us and we’ll be able to find it for you.

IMPORTANT: the last wave is scheduled for 11am. After that time, no additional runners will be allowed to enter the start line. By noon the entire course will be empty and all participants will be enjoying the after party at the base camp with pizza, DJ, and costume contest.

Please show up an hour earlier than your wave time to allow time for parking and admittance.

-What if I just want to be a spectator?
We are not allowing open access to the course or staging area. What this means is that if you want to participate as a spectator you will still need to pay for a registration even though you won’t be running. As noted above, we have set prices very low to make sure it is an affordable family adventure.

-Is registration refundable or transferable?
Unfortunately, we are unable to provide refunds, but you are more than welcome to transfer your registration to someone else to come in your place and be a substitute hero.

If you need to transfer your registration to someone else, that can be done either through the website or by simply contacting us.

It is important to also note that we are unable to provide refunds for any additional purchases you make when you register – i.e. the optional event shirt.

-What entertainment and activities will be provided?
Aside from struggle of heroes and villains locked in an epic battle, there will be a DJ, vendors, bouncy houses, minion me caricature artist, photo booth, food trucks, and the ultimate junior hero costume contest!

-Can I volunteer?
We would love to have you as a volunteer! Just click HERE to get signed up.

- Can I bring food and drink?
Unfortunately we cannot allow people to enter the venue with food. We will be providing free bottled water on the course and beverages for purchase at the base camp to insure our heroes are properly hydrated. You are also welcome to bring water with you if you like.

- Can I bring my dog?
We love dogs but unfortunately this run is a challenge you will have to take on without your fury sidekick. Only registered service dogs will be permitted.

-Is there an event packet I need to pick up?
Since this run is all about outrageous superhero costumes and water guns, we will not be providing runners with bibs and bib numbers. For this reason, there is no need for us to inconvenience our heroes with having to pick up a packet before they are ready to save the world. The only thing our heroes will need is a print out of the registration confirmation email to get admittance to the watergun adventure. Just don’t forget that everyone needs to register on the website. You will find limited time discounts on the registration price by following us on Facebook.

-Can I bring a stroller?
Yes, we will be allowing parents to bring infants and strollers onto the course to participate in the excitement. Please be aware that some of the paths through the garden are narrow and roughly paved, so you will need to proceed with caution.

-Do I have to register my infant for the run?
We are allowing jr heroes 2 years and younger to participate without registering or paying an admittance fee!
